Hangzhou Ocean Industry Co., Ltd. develops a new standard polyurethane material for its spiders. The improved polyurethane material is resistant to significantly higher temperatures and has a considerably longer service life than the previous polyurethane material. we offers users the ability to tailor the performance of jaw couplings to match their application needs as spiders are available in three durometers, 85 Shore A for greatest dampening, 92 Shore A for balance of dampening and torsional stiffness, and 98 Shore A for a small amount of dampening and highest torsional stiffness. Stand offs on the spider limbs help installers maintain proper spacing between the two hubs, assuring electrical isolation and full angular misalignment capabilities. Spiders are designed to be the wear element of the coupling making replacement cost effective and simple while restoring full performance abilities to the coupling.
